1. Services Provided

We provide professional video-editing and post-production services for SaaS brands, including but not limited to editing, motion graphics, color correction, social cut-downs, and versioning.

2. Payment Terms

  • An advance of 50% of the agreed project fee is due before work begins.
  • The remaining 50% is due prior to final delivery of the approved edit.
  • If the Client opts to pay 100% upfront, a discount of 10% will apply.

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you don't like the delivered edit, you don't pay for it.
  • For this guarantee to apply:
    • You must provide full and timely feedback at each stage.
    • You must approve or reject deliverables within the agreed timeframe.
    • You must not exceed the agreed revision scope.
  • The guarantee applies only to the first version of the deliverable. Once you request any major changes, the guarantee no longer applies.
  • If significant project time, resources, or assets have already been used (e.g., voiceover, licensed footage, animation costs), those expenses may be deducted from any refund.
  • If The Launch Cut delivers according to the agreed brief and revisions, but the client remains dissatisfied without clear justification the satisfaction guarantee does not apply.

4. Revisions & Approval

  • The Client is entitled to unlimited "reasonable" revisions (within the scope defined in the project brief) at no additional cost.
  • A revision is considered "reasonable" if it does not require redesigning or reworking previously approved major stages (e.g., script, storyboard, sfx).
  • Approval for each stage must be provided within 2 business days; delays may affect delivery timelines.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

  • If the Client cancels the project after work has commenced, a refund will be calculated based on the portion of Services not yet delivered.
  • If the Client becomes unresponsive for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to cancel the project without refund and resume only upon a new agreement/quote.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to participate in an onboarding call and provide all required assets (brand guidelines, logos, footage, etc.) promptly.
  • The Client must review and approve each stage (script, edits, versions) via email or agreed approval system before the next stage begins.
  • Delays or lack of feedback by the Client may impact project delivery and are not the responsibility of The Launch Cut.

7. Delivery & Timelines

  • Standard deliverables will be in 1920×1080 (HD) resolution unless otherwise agreed.
  • Custom dimensions or formats (e.g., 4K, vertical versions) will be specified in the quote.
  • Any request outside the scope of the original project is subject to change in the delivery timeline.
  • The Launch Cut will use reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines. However, delays caused by the Client (e.g., late feedback) or any requests outside the scope of the original project are not liable to cause any penalty or refund obligation.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Upon full payment, the Client receives full ownership of the final deliverables (including rights to use, modify, distribute).
  • The Launch Cut retains rights to display the work in its portfolio or case-studies unless the Client requests otherwise and a separate agreement is made.

9. Limitations of Liability

  • The Launch Cut is not liable for delays caused by the Client's failure to provide feedback or required assets.
  • Our total liability for any claim under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the Services.

10. Confidentiality

We respect our clients' confidentiality and are open to signing NDAs upon request. All proprietary information shared during the project will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the project.

11. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably and directly with the client. In cases where mutual resolution is not possible, we may seek legal counsel to resolve the matter. Both parties are encouraged to act reasonably to minimize harm and disruption.
